Meet Mrs. Foster!
This is my eleventh year at Coastal Ridge, but my thirteenth year teaching. I taught My first two years of teaching were spent at Shapleigh Memorial School in Shapleigh, Maine. I have taught both second and third grade. I graduated from the University of Maine with a undergraduate degree in Elementary Education in 2007. In 2014 I finished a masters degree in Education, with a concentration in Literacy, at the University of New England.
My husband and I own a home in North Berwick. We live there with our son Tucker, daughter Elouise and furry yellow lab, Sawyer. Mr. Foster is the principal at Loranger Memorial School in Old Orchard Beach. I am the oldest of four, with two younger sisters and a younger brother. I am also a proud aunt to a four beautiful nieces, and two adorable nephews! I come from a family of teachers. My mom is a literacy teacher, my sister a speech and language pathologist, my brother, a middle school science teacher, my mother in law a school nurse, one sister in law a third grade teacher, and the other a high school english teacher! We are still working on my dad. :)
When I am not teaching I love to spend time with friends and family, enjoy the sunshine at the beach, try new recipes, camp, hike, run, and enjoy the great outdoors.
